First day on Tiree and straight off the ferry we decided to sail Gott Bay as a warm up with everyone on the same patch of water. There was a slight swell with some sets coming in at 3ft.

Turned out to be quite a good start with a cross off wind direction making for some decent frontside riding. Managed 4 bottom turns on one wave.

Called it a day at 5pm so I got changed only to find that the rest of the wave heads were off to Crossapoll. Went along to see the pro's putting on an impressive display of big back loops and goiters. I was too hungover and cold to venture out for the remaining daylight plus I had a whole week ahead with some severe gales forecast.
